As I watched this news clip on youtube it reminded me of something I had seen before. The most interesting part is one was extremely funny to me. The other....not so much. However both clips told the same story. See for yourself

It makes you wonder is the world really understanding the satire of The Boondocks. Or are they taking the injustices around them seriously. Maybe....just maybe it's time to stop laughing.
Wow, is all I have to say. To me this McGruder at his best. Taking this real life event and making it funny. After I watched both videos I thought about my use of the word (I won’t type it cuz I’m at work, I know they're monitoring what I type…lol) and how it effects people. I’ll admit it, I use it A LOT.
ReplyDeleteI guess I’m trying to say it made me think about my actions, which is good. I think this was Mc Gruder’s goal. But I don’t know if most people who saw this had that reflective thought. This is a perfect example I was trying to get at with my post.
